A nurse not only nourishes but takes care of the sick, so that the Nucleus would have to be the nursery or the nurse of the cell, since it actively takes care of the growth, reproduction and DNA.

Plant cells contain vacuoles which help keep the cells in good shape. Primarily vacuoles can store water and nutrients. Vacuoles can keep a plant from wilting by swelling with water to apply pressure to the cell walls. They can also remove waste from the cell. So very much like a nurse, vacuoles keep the plant cells healthy.
