Do you find the tone of the book to your liking? I find that it is objective and non-prejudiced. I like that Young is honest but not bitter in the book even when talking about life's tradegies and challenges.
Objectivity is refreshing in a book. When we are presented with an objective viewpoint, we get to make our own determination. We get to decide for ourselves, without the bias of the narrator interfering.
I agree. This kind of book is also good for refreshing one's history knowledge. It's easier to remember events and things when you can connect them with something of interest to yourself.
