Nouns could be used to represent life.  Explain?

This is a good question. I can see from where you are coming. Often times, we think that only adjectives describe life. However, if you think about it, nouns can also describe and explain things of life. Nouns, in fact, can be powerful symbols that evoke many thoughts and feelings. Let me give you some examples. 

A fork or crossroads can be used as a symbol for divergence. In other words, it can symbolize that a decision needs to be made. 

A scale can represent justice or the importance of weighing something. For example, in a certain context, it can represent the weighing of good and evil. 

A cross is another noun, but it have great meaning for Christians.

A knife can represent horror or death. In a word, the key point to keep in mind is that then context in which the noun is found gives meaning to the noun.
