Need a thesis related to a wisdom statement

Hey, can anybody help me out with this? I just need a thesis that connects this statement, “If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin.” to Hamlet's delay/procrastination.

Thanks!

Evidently Shakespeare understood that procrastination is a common human failing. I believe you could use a great quote from his Macbeth as part of your thesis statement. In Act 4, Scene 1 of that play Macbeth says

The flighty purpose never is o'ertook

Unless the deed go with it.

This is a truth about human nature we all recognize in ourselves. We can put off trivial things like calling the dentist for a semi-annual checkup, or more serious things like giving up smoking, or crucial things like asking for a divorce. I think we understand Hamlet and identify with him because he is just like us.

Shakespeare seemed to like to exaggerate ordinary human traits. Polonius, for instance, is just another dad sending his son off to college and worrying about what kinds of trouble he might get into. Lady Macbeth is just another housewife nagging her husband about getting that promotion.
