Parallel structure in a paragraph refers to a common pattern that is followed by all sentences within that paragraph. You can decide what pattern you want to use, but then you will follow that same structure in every sentence as you express your passionate feelings about the mispronunciation of your name or whatever other topic you choose.

If you want to emphasize the way you react when hearing your name mispronounced, you might want to develop a sentence structure that describes your reactions. For example, imagine the first sentence of your paragraph read, "I go completely crazy when people mispronounce my name." Your second sentence, in following the pattern you have set, might be, "I see crimson red when idiots mangle my surname." You would continue to use the same parallel structure for the rest of the sentences in your paragraph.

Interesting assignment. Good luck!
