I need help writing an analysis essay on Macbeth, Acts 4 and 5. I don't know what to talk about in this analysis essay. Can someone show me how to write it?
Act IV scene 1 of Macbeth opens with the witches in the cavern. Another prophecy is given to Macbeth that no man born of a woman would defeat him and he would not fall until Birnam Woods marched on to Dunsinane Hill. Act IV scene 2 is the brutal murder of Macduff’s family, while in scene 3 Macduff tries to win the trust of Malcolm who has fled to England. Act V is where the action takes place and the prophesy unfolds. Malcolm and Macduff’s army disguises themselves with tree branches from the forest so when they march to Dunsinane Hill it looks like Birnam Hill is marching. We also find out that Macduff was not born naturally. He was torn from his mother’s womb; therefore, he was not born of a woman and able to defeat Macbeth. With all of this in mind, I would structure my analysis on the idea of puzzle pieces. Each scene is a piece of the puzzle and it is not until the end of the story that we see the entire picture. You also need all of the pieces to fit in order for the picture to be accurate. That is how I would structure the essay.
