The first thing you must consider when seeking books about body language is whether or not the author is credible. Paul Ekman is one of the most well known body language specialists; his work even inspired the television show Lie to Me. He has published the following books, all of which are incredibly useful when trying to learn more about this subject:
- Telling Lies: Clue to Deceit in the Marketplace, Politics, and Marriage.
- Emotions Revealed: Recognizing Faces and Feelings to Improve Communication and Emotional Life
- Unmasking the Face: A Guide to Recognizing Emotions from Facial Expressions
Another excellent resource that provides full color images on every page and covers all aspects of body language is Knack Body Language by Aaron Brehove and Roger Paperno.
These are great starting points for you and will offer suggestions for further reading.
