Anyway, the right answer for the first blank is the Brownshirts.  They were the Nazi thugs who were used to do things like beating up people from parties that opposed the Nazis (this was before the Nazis took power).

And the Italian fascists, led by Mussolini, had the same kind of people.  They were called the Blackshirts.
