In the movie and novel All Quiet on the Western Front, Paul Baumer and his classmates must have graduated in 1915.  A specific year is not mentioned in the story, so the reader/viewer has to use context clues to figure out the time.

At the end of the story, Paul says over and over that the summer of 1918 was terrible for the soldiers because the war was coming to an end and all hope was lost for Germany's winning the war.  This is also around the time that Kat is killed, and Paul recalls the time that he and Kat first met; Kat taught Paul and the others significant lessons about survival during the war.  Paul says that Kat first taught him three years ago, so one would thus assume that the students graduated from school and immediately entered the war in 1915.  (Plus, WWI did not begin until the summer of 1914, but in the story, Kantorek is encouraging boys in Paul's class to join the war, so Paul and his friends could not have graduated any earlier. . .)
