An illustration of the letter 'A' in a speech bubbles
The first poem "Melodic Train" describes now we spend all of our time in trains and other moving transports. The anxiety of life is that we are always moving, always going toward or away from something. In "The Painter" the painter seems afraid to start or accomplish anything, and is insecure enough to let others interfere until he self-destructs.
