I love taking pictures and want to download "Photoshop" for free.  I need help on how and where to get it?

You shouldn't, and don't.

Photoshop is protected by almost a hundred separate patents and copyrights. It is a great piece of software, the standard by which all other photo-editing software is measured and evaluated. It is the result of years of research and development and thousands of man-hours of hard work by Adobe. If you want it, save up and pay for it.

If you are a student, you may well be able to qualify for an academic discount, or you can compromise and get a version of Photoshop, without all the bells and whistles, called Photoshop Elements; it's now $79.99 here:

Alternately, you can use one of a number of very fine and free online editors. They do a lot of the things that Photoshop does. I have listed a few links to them below.

Nothing is for free, especially photoshop. If someone offer this for free, it is probably illegal. Like the second post stated, you can buy it academically priced, which is an excellent deal. Here are a few more possible solutions:

1. If you upgrade your camera, try to buy a camera that comes with photoshop elements. In this way, you can get the basic photoshop with the camera.

2. You can ask your school, if they have any extra license. If they do, perhaps they will give you one for free.

3. Intern at a photo place and they might also give you a license.
