To get a better answer, please ask a more focused question.  After all, Queen Victoria was the Queen of England for almost 64 years.  A reign of that length has many different aspects that you might be asking about.

The reign of Queen Victoria lasted from 1837 to 1901.  It is typically called the Victorian Era.  This was a very important time in English history.  For example, this was the time during which Britain moved much closer towards democracy.  During this time, the power of the monarchy declined even as Victoria's personal prestige helped to maintain its relevance.

Another major aspect of this time is that it was perhaps the apex of British imperial power.   It was during her reign, for example, that the British government took control of India from the British East India Country.   A third aspect of Victoria's reign is that it included the time in which Britain became thoroughly industrialized.

These things combine to make the Victorian Era a time of tremendous change in Great Britain.

Queen Victoria presided over an incredible era in British history. How much if it she directly impacted is debatable. That's not to say she was not influential though. She oversaw the Industrial Revolution and a transformation of society to the modern age.

The Victorian era could be analyzed as a highly-successful period in British history. Owing to the strong determination of Gladstone and Disraeli the whole country achieved maturity. Improvement was the rule. During this era the government realized the importance of foreign free trade (Huskisson, Robinson in the 1820s), the importance of education (1870) and so on and so forth. Nonetheless this era was ponctuated with many wars such as the Boer war (1899-1902) and the Crimean war (1854-1856). The literary trend of the time was Romanticism. The Great Exhibition of 1851 embodied the success of this period. This period had its theoreticians such as Malthus, Bentham and many other thinkers. This period put Britain amongst the most powerful empires in the world.

I hope it will be useful.
