No, Elisa Allen is not a round and dynamic character. She is a round character for sure; however, she is not dynamic. She is the same woman at the end of the story as she is at the story's beginning. She begins and ends the story a woman that feels stagnated and repressed in her daily grind of a marriage. Elisa Allen is a round character. There is loads of depth to this woman. When we are first introduced to her, readers are not exactly greeted with anything resembling a doting, cute wife oozing with femininity. What we are greeted with is someone strong who is aggressively gardening while wearing mostly men's clothes.

She was thirty-five. Her face was lean and strong and her eyes were as clear as water. Her figure looked blocked and heavy in her gardening costume, a man's black hat pulled low down over her eyes, clod-hopper shoes, a figured print dress almost completely covered by a big corduroy apron with four big pockets to hold the snips, the trowel and scratcher, the seeds and the...

Usually, the main characters is a dynamic/round character due to conflicts that occur throughout the story. But i have read stories in which the main character is  barely characterized, and can only be described as a static/flat character.
