The Internet can be very convenient, if a person knows how to use it. This is the key. Knowing what the Internet can do makes all the difference. Let me give you a few examples.

First, if you are doing research, the Internet has many great on-line resources from primary sources to articles and books. So, by reading them on-line you will save time. In other words, you do not need to go to the library at times. You can do your research at the comforts of your home.

Second, if you are shopping for gifts, you can do it all on-line as well. This can be especially helpful during the holidays when the stores are packed with people. For example, you can go on and order all you need with a few clicks of the mouse. Then they will deliver it to your house in a few days. This is extremely easy to do.
