I find one of the most influential business sites to be BNN (Business News Network). This is a Canadian business site that takes a daily look at market news in Canada primarily, as well as the United States and internationally. This website gives the latest stock market news and analysis. It also provides excellent expert analysis from business and finance professionals. They feature interviews with Chief Executive Officers of publicly-traded firms. They also provide quality corporate profiles on businesses in various sectors.
I personally like the business section of The Economist website. It provides a more global analysis and one that is almost entirely devoid of partisan politics. Certainly, the magazine has a pro-globalization point of view, but it is actually, I think, "fair and balanced." In any case, it also tends to be well ahead of the curve on technology.
I have to say that I am attracted to the business site CNBC and Forbes. I really like the high end product advertising on Forbes (a girl can dream). Outside of that, I like the way the stories are presented and the web design.
I think it would be more helpful if you could tell us exactly which sites are excluded. When you say "etc." it could put any number of business sites off limits. I would say that BusinessWeek is the msot influential of the sites that you have not named here, but I do not know if it is one of the ones we shouldn't pick.
