In "The Sniper," identify three qualities the snipers have in common.

In Liam O'Flaherty's "The Sniper," both snipers whole-heartedly believe in the cause for which they fight, as they are both willing to die for that cause. Both snipers are there to do the same job, and both are very good at that job. Each of them fires at the other, and, despite the darkness and the distance, both of them prove to be good marksmen. Both are also very patient and willing to wait for the right shot.
