I'm looking for the Arden Shakespeare Edition of King Lear. Does anyone know where I can read it online? Please, kindly help.

I know there are different versions of King Lear. I have bought the wrong edition and have already read it, but then I was told it was the wrong one. Any website, links (even if you have it in pdf) I'd take it, as long as it is the Arden Shakespeare version. I also need it for the lineation. Thanks a lot.

I'm afraid that the best you might be able to do online is to buy a used copy.  On Amazon, they start at $3.73 plus shipping (link to Amazon provided below).  I have goggled the Arden Lear (as I am sure you probably did) and found it only available for purchase.  Google Books search brings up a copy of the text, but does not give access to any of the document.

An off-line option is to call your local used bookstore.  If you are a graduate student, there should be a really good used bookstore in your town.  Also, you could contact the graduate library at your college.  I would be very surprised if they did not have a copy of the Arden, as they are the most comprehensive editions of Shakespeare's plays available.

Good luck!
