There are many corporations that can be characterized in this way. It is definitely good to be seen as a company that offers a lot of value for the price that the consumer is charged.
One such company might be Honda. (The same is true of Toyota even in the non-Lexus lines.) This is a car company that focuses on making cars that will be affordable for the masses. This is one reason why, for example, it is able to sell so many of its Odyssey minivans. At the same time, the company focuses on the quality of its product. One of its major selling points is the fact that is consistently rated very well by the companies that rate vehicles. This combination of price and quality is consistent with the best cost provider strategy.
Another possible example of this would be Dell Computers. Dell clearly wants to be seen as a company that offers good value for price. It offers low prices, but it seems to focus more on the idea that you can get the exact computer that you want from them. This means that they are focusing on their ability to provide a high quality computer for a relatively low price.
