I'd like to know what textbooks teachers are using for 7th grade English. Is there one that's fabulous?

Our school district uses the Prentice Hall "Elements of Literature" text.  This version is fairly strong in terms of its writing samples, but it does need supplementation.  It should be noted that we use a rather antiquated version of the text, as we are going to be selecting new textbooks within the next two years.  Our version is still fairly strong for a literature survey at 7th grade, but it does need additional supplementation if a teacher really wanted to integrate it into a better understanding of literature.  It seems to me that our district purchases texts as a base, for which further exploration on the parts of both teacher and student is needed.  This might prevent us from possessing a "fabulous" textbook, in general.  Having said that,  the current versions of the Prentice Hall Textbooks look much stronger than what we have currently.  They are fairly worthy of examining, as their selection seems relevant to students.
