How might I go about writing a 150 word review of Hamlet including an introduction, a discussion of characterization and themes, a plot description, an interesting quote, and an analysis or evaluation?

A review is essentially an evaluation of the play in which you inform a potential theatergoer of whether a play is worth seeing.
In a newspaper style review, your first sentence or two should contain your overall judgement of the play. Next, you should focus on the whether the characters are well drawn and rounded or flat and stereotyped; in a review this short you should focus on Hamlet and Claudius, and very briefly touch on Ophelia, and one or two other characters. For theme, discuss the elements of revenge and for plot the main plot line of Hamlet's revenge for his father's death. Use the "To be or not to be" soliloquy for a quotation and then finish with an analysis of why the play succeeds so well as a literary and dramatic work.
