I wouldn't want to control the weather. I think that is too much responsibility. I would not know what was best for the world, or the area, at that particular time. I don't think that controlling the weather is a good idea for anyone, because I would not trust anyone to do it.

Hah.  This is a hillarious question.  I would definitely use this as a business advantage in a mountainous region.  I'd build a ski-resort and have it snow all night and never during the day.    That way there would always be fresh powder every morning and fabulous clear conditions all day.

Although, even as I type this, I think about the crowd of skiers these conditions would attract.  I suppose this would eliminate the presence of the true "hard-core" snow-enthusiasts, which might make my resort a little snobby and certainly "soft."  But at least we'd have great snow!

This is completely a matter of opinion and you will find that everyone will have different tastes. If I could control weather, I would have the temperature be a pleasant 70 degrees year round. Living in the midwest, I can add that winters can be quite harsh and it is certainly not fun driving in the snow and ice. I would also like storms to be less severe. Rain is a necessity so I would not change that but I certainly do not like tornados. Just last night a tornado touched down about 15 miles from my home. There was quite a bit of damage. People were trapped in their homes-very scary.

If I could control the weather my life would be different because I would not have to worry about some of society's issues.  I would make sure the weather was adequate for farming so we wouldn't have to worry about people starving around the world.  I would make sure it rained when it was needed and was warm enough for crop growth.  I would also prevent hurricanes from being as destructive as they are.  I would prevent the weather patterns that bring on tornadoes.  I would keep temperatures from rising to extreme heights in areas that weren't used to it.  This would help lower heat related deaths.  My only concern with being able to control the weather is that I would be interfering with nature and would probably cause bigger problems than we are facing now.

I would think that you would want to answer this one yourself because your tastes are going to be different from my own.  So is your situation in life.

For example, a major way that my life would be different if I could control the weather is that I would not have to worry about having my kids get too cold during swim lessons or about not being able to go swimming on some summer days because of it being too cold or too windy.  I doubt that applies to you.

The other thing that would be different for me is that I would be able to cool the house off on summer evenings just by opening the windows -- it would not stay hot after dark the way it often does where I live.
