I'd say you're pretty well there with your thesis statement. As far as examples of impulsiveness, they are all over the place! Romeo is impulsive in his "love" for Juliet. When he first meets her, he is pining over his love for Rosalyn and then all of a sudden he's off her and onto Juliet. He goes to her house, climbs her trestle, etc. Impulsiveness in Juliet is illustrated by her going to the friar and certainly, by the friar's actions. The fact that he gave her this drug to put her to sleep was really impulsive. I don't think a friar should be doing such a thing! I think that if he thought it through, he would have gone to her parents and told them what was going on, which might have brought them back together and prevented the tragedy. Even there, we could talk about what made the Montagues and Capulets hate each other. I don't think it's mentioned in the text, so we could make the argument that it was an impulsive and rash decision to stay away from each other and hate each other.
