Certainly, water aids the working of those components of the body listed above, such as the brain. And, without it, one loses energy. One example of how water assists food substances is with fiber; if a person does not drink enough water, fiber cannot work properly to aid the excretory system.
Water also flushes toxins out of the system while it carries nutrients to body cells, and it provides a properly moist environment for throat, nose, and ears. Naturally, for pregnant women or nursing mothers, water is even more essential; these women should drink about 10 cups of water per day. Without doubt, then, water=life.
