The equation `e^x-3 = 0` has to be solved

`e^x - 3 = 0`

=> `e^x = 3`

take the logarithm to the natural base of both the sides

`ln(e^x) = ln 3`

=> `x*ln e = ln 3`

=> `x = ln 3`

The solution of the equation e^x - 3 = 0 is x = ln 3
