We need to find the distance (in kilometers) that the particle travels in 4 minutes.

Then we are given the time T = 4 minutes.

But the speed is given in seconds.

Then we will convert 4 minutes to seconds.

We know that 1 minute = 60 seconds.

==> 4 minutes = 4*60 = 240 seconds.

Then the time given is T = 240 s.

Now we need to find the distance ( D).

We know that S = D/ T

==> D = S*T

==> D = 65 * 240 = 15,600 meters.

Now we will convert to kilometers.

We know that :

 1 km = 1000 m

x km = 15,600 m

==> x = 15600/ 1000 = 15.6 km

Then, the distance is 15.6 kilometers.
