Romeo kills Tybalt the day after the Capulet ball.  Romeo and Juliet meet at the ball.  That night, Juliet tells Romeo that he must tell the Nurse the next morning where and when they will get married if he is seriously in love with her.  So, that next morning Romeo tells the Nurse that he will marry Juliet that afternoon.  Directly following the wedding, Romeo meets up with his friends in Verona’s square; here they are met by Tybalt who begins the infamous sword fight with Mercutio which leads to Mercutio’s death and then Tybalt’s death.  So Tybalt is killed one day after the party.
