There are eight bones in the wrist and seven bones in the ankle.

In the ankle region, the one side and another, there are 7 tarsus bones, 5 metatarsals bones, and it ends with 2 phalanxes of the bigger fingers and the rest of 3 phalanxes of the other toes.
