How do you simplify 24/6+3*5? i dont know what simplify means.

Simplify just means that you're supposed to get an equation down into its simplest terms.  In this case, it means that you have to get rid of the fraction on the left side of the equation and you also have to get the right side to be made up of just one number.  So when you get done, you'll just have one number on each side.

So, you start by dividing on the left.  That gives you

4 + 3*5

Then you do the multiplication on the right.  That gives you

Simlify means that you cannot perform any the math functions/operations on the expressions.

Below is the order in which you perform math operations (PEMDAS):

Parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition , subtraction.


24/6+3*5?=  Do multiplicaiton and division first

4 + 15         And finally addition

19               Your answer is 19

Try using BEDMAS (Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) this is the order of operations. (BEDMAS is another form of simplificaition.)
