The standard way of quoting something you have retrieved from a website in the APA format is as follows:

Author, A. (date). Title of document [Format description]. Retrieved from http://URL

The four essential pieces of information that you should include are the Author Name, Date, Title of the document and the Web site's address.

In case, you do not find the author's name mentioned, start with the title of the document, followed by date and the web-site's address.

In case, no date has been provided you can use (n.d.)

If the title of the document is missing, provide a brief description of the document.

The links below provide all that you need to quote a website as your source of information in the APA format, which includes references from www.enotes.com.
