You can't get rid of pores, but then, you wouldn't want to. Pores perform highly necessary functions for the body, and are essential for the health of the skin. To name but two, they allow oils to secrete from the body, and these keep the skin moist. They also allow you to sweat, which keeps you from overheating.
Now, it is possible to reduce the appearance of large pores, and that can be desirable. Retinol will do so, as will some medicated face washes. Exfoliation helps.
