In this society, the banks do not run the way banks (sort of) do in our society.  That is to say that they do not have human tellers.  Instead, they have robot tellers and are open all night.  This would have sounded really futuristic to people back when Bradbury was writing this, but now it just sounds normal since we have ATMs.

You can find this after Montag leaves Faber's house after his first visit.  He has the "bullet" from Faber in his ear as he rides home on the subway.  It says at that point that he has already been to the bank.
