This question is very difficult to answer which is why it has been here so long.   As a family which has had several exchange students live with them, the easiest approach was to write in your own language, translate, and the REVISE into the English style of writing.  For example, in Spanish, the adjective comes after the noun and in English it comes before the noun.  Revise into English, ask one of your classmates to read it and make suggestions, and then revise again.  For you, revision will be imperative for every essay you write in order to use English style.  As you write more essays, some of the style will become familiar to you, but have native speakers help you with the style, not the content.  Good luck as I know this is not easy.
