Pip receives news of his sister's death from Trabb & Company, and this causes him to think about his life with Joe and his sister while growing up.The only fond memories he has of this time is Joe and Biddy, but he cannot think of anything positive to do with his sister. He sees her presence everywhere, but he remembers only her cruelty to him.
