These ideas are generally in line with the ideals of progressivism.  The progressive movement in the US was concerned with mainly social justice.  Wilson's 14 Points were generally concerned with that as well.
The 14 Points were concerned with trying to prevent war and with trying to prevent strong countries from abusing weaker countries.  This can be seen as an attempt to implement social justice on a global scale.
Both progressivism and the 14 Points were meant to end a system in which the strong took what they wanted and the weak suffered.  In this way, the 14 Points reflected progressive ideals.
