How are Asian concepts of family loyalty and obligation similar to or different to the Italian concepts of these characteristics?

Asian and Italian cultures are similar in terms of loyalty because both cultures are undergirt by collective cultural structures. This means that the group has more weight than the individual (this is the opposite of American culture). In collective cultures, even though the degree of collectivity may differ as between Asia and Italy, loyalty is a dominant trait.
