Since Corrie Ten Boom was a strong Christian woman, this comes through in the themes in the book.  The major point of the book is to do what is right no matter what the consequences.  To her what is right is defined by the Bible. Another theme is that God will provide you with what you need when you need it to do His work.  Corrie chooses to protect Jews because it is the right thing to do.  She knows it is not safe.  There are some amazing moments in the story when God provides for her and Betsey.  One example is the vitamins that last seemingly forever.  Another example is her story of the fleas in the concentration camp barracks.  These themes are significant to our lives daily.  Do we do things because they are convenient or because they are the right thing to do.
