Hey people, could you give some nice article topics about NASA?Hey people, could you give some nice article topics about NASA?
I think that a significant discussion point and a good one for analysis would be how NASA is going to be reconfigured in the light of extreme budget cuts. There is intense discussion about decreasing the role of government, reducing its apparatus, and making it more "streamline." Terms like this essentially boil down to budgetary cuts and reductions in funding. One of these byproducts is that institutions like NASA will have to suffer and struggle to provide ends towards its goal of space exploration. Essentially, the goal of space exploration is something that requires funding and a level of government commitment. President Kennedy's thorough support for it helped to initiate it. As there are more calls to reduce spending and plans for budget involve a stark "slash" to many government expenditures, NASA seems to be a victim to these changing political discourses. In this, there is much in way of topic analysis present. What does it mean when a world leader like the United States is willingly taking a back seat to other nations in the realm of space exploration, a domain so commonly associated with NASA and the United States? This might be a very interesting topic to analyze because it speaks to the changing dialectic and America's role within it.
I think a good article topic for consideration would be to analyze the momentum and importance of NASA as it relates to future generations. There does not seem to be as much focus on NASA these days, in terms of what the agency is doing, what the future direction is, and where we are going from here. While we have made significant gains in our knowledge base of what happens in space, we seem to have stopped pushing the envelope in terms of gaining knowledge with the moon shots and the space shuttle program. Back in the '60s, there was a major competition going on between the United States and the Soviet Union, which resulted in the Great Space Race, which the USA eventually won when they landed on the moon first. That impetus, that sense of importance, that pride in our space program seems to have become a relic of the distant past.
You could focus on the influence NASA has had in this country. You could also focus on the importance of the NASA program and all that it has accomplished. If you are looking for a more recent topic, you might focus on the break down of the shuttle program. You could also look at how the retirement of the shuttle crafts will effect our continuing efforts on the international space station. Another topic that has been in the news recently is the lack of funding for NASA. They are such an important organization that really provides many services and technological discoveries.
As a Floridian, one big issue is how NASA's place here at Cape Canaveral has affected and will continue to effect the economy of the area around it. The county in which Kennedy Space Center is located has long been an area of wealth and highly educated people, with good schools, jobs and opportunities, as a result of NASA's influence. As NASA's roll changes, how will it again affect the area around it?
Justifying the space project. In a time of endemic job cuts and financhial insecurity can we justify the space projects that are ongoing? Moreoever, we know so little about the ocean, shouldnt we focus our attention there, and in understanding what is in our own oceans before we start looking for water on other planets?
How about how the space shuttle was moved to JFK airport in NYC today and will be eventually made into a museum? How about how sad it is that the space program was completely diminished by President Obama and how new technologies as well as new jobs related to these new technologies won't occur?
u r not gonna leave NASA..isnt it..
I THINK U CAN FOCUS ON TOPICS ANOUT THE ACHIEVEMENTS MADE BY NASA.
ALTHOUGH ACHIEVEMENTS ARE FRUITS OF MAN'S LABOUR....
Yes I appreciate with your point. There were many others sector to cut down budget but why NASA?
Ya but catd1115 we aint going to talk about the disadvantages or any ohter issues but i prefer we talk about good and the prospering topics about NASA
