Let the speed of Winnie and Piglet be Sw and Sp

Let the time taken by each to reach the meeting point be t

t = distance/speed = Dw/Sw = Dp/Sp

or Dw/Dp = Sw/Sp ................. (1)

Time take be Winnie and Piglet to the others hhouse is 18 and 8 minutes

so speed of Winnie Sw = Dp/8

and speed of Piglet Sp = Dw/18

therefore Sp/Sw = 8/18 * (Dw/Dp) ........ (2)

Substituting value of Dw/Dp from (1) in (2), we get

Sp/Sw = 8/18 * (Sw/Sp)

(Sp/Sw)^2 = 8/18 = 4/9

Sp/Sw = 2/3

Piglet's time to reach Winnie's house from his house = t + 18
