There are a couple of issues here that might need to be sorted out.  I think that the first one is this newsletter.  If it's a newsletter that is highlighting news events, few, if any, can help unless they know of this newsletter.  If you are referring to the newspaper, then I think that you might be able to get a bit more help.  Operating from this point of view, I would go ahead and examine a newspaper and see the articles that are being written in that particular day.  In terms of an "interesting" article, this might be something that you will have to select for yourself in terms of what you think might be interesting and unique.  That is going to be a matter of personal preference.  In analyzing it, I think you would have to read it over carefully, and perhaps a couple of times.  The next step would be to figure out what you see as the main idea of the article and then figuring out how it reflects a sense of bias.  You might be best able to do this by assessing how the news story shows a particular point of view.  It must conclude in some way or present the facts in some manner.  Find this, and you will have found its bias.  From this, you can pull and figure out the other elements of fragmentation, perception and distortion.  I think that once you figure this out and write it out, editors at enotes might be able to help you refine your work, moving it from good to possibly great.
