No, I had not read it but I looked it up here (http://www.allenandunwin.com/default.aspx?page=94&book=9781742372389) and it does sound rather interesting.  I find comedians to be very brave.  I have a feeling this book would really be both touching and funny.  I certainly don't read enough funny books!

I'm teaching it in my class to a Yr 8 class in a Catholic College in Sydney.  I am in the process of writing the unit for the faculty within the theme of identity.  I really enjoyed reading the book.  Many years ago I taught at Birrong Boys High which is the next suburb to Yagoona.  Another teacher on my faculty invited Ahn to speak to our students but his work schedule meant it was not a possibility.

Please post any ideas that might be helpful to myself and other teachers.
