Good morning, I am helping a student in a work on Proust. His work is in French, and he needs to translate a sentence of Swann's Way into English. We live in Peru and have no easy access to English books. The sentence would sound more or less: "you are a shapeless water that runs according to the inclination...". Any idea of how we could get this sentence translated? It would go up to "...it'll go on mistaking by water". Thanks a lot.

Have you tried an online translation site? Babelfish usually does an OK job with translation. You could then smooth it out by using an online French dictionary.
