At the G1 phase, the cell has complete sets of chromosomes. Now the cell can decide whether it will continue to cell divide or not. If it wishes to continue, the DNA replication of the chromosomes will begin until the end of G2 phase. G1, S and G2 are in the interphase. Nuclear membrane is still intact until the end of interphase which means that the nuclear membrane is present in G1, S and G2 phases.
