Some people believe that putting a mask of mashed up fruit on your face is good for dry skin.  They claim that kiwi fruit is good for this.  They also talk about papayas and bananas being used in this way.  Other people argue that mangosteens are good for dry skin (but they are supposed to be eaten, not applied to the skin).

I am not sure if you want to put the fruit on your skin or eat fruits that will keep your skin healthy. Eating a diet rich in fresh fruit can be good for your skin. Eating a variety of different fruits and vegetables each day will help keep your skin healthier.

The single greatest factor affecting dry skin is hydration, so eating watermelon makes good sense, since the vast majority of that fruit is water. Same goes for pineapple and oranges, and anything with Vitamin-E.

Some of the more common fruits used in face packs are papaya, peach, and banana. As someone else has mentioned good hydration is very important to healthy skin, so drinking lots of water will help with dry skin.
