Favorite Bukowski short story
Bukowski wrote a ton of short stories. Which are your favorite? I like the stories on Hot Water Music a lot, with The Great Poet being one of my faves.
Have you ever heard the punk band Hot Water Music? A great but unfortunately defunct group. They took their name from Bukowski's book.
I don't think I can pick a favorite....What's not to love about the rampant sex, drunkness, and violence that marks and scars all of Bukowski's work? But if pressed, I'd have to choose "Aftermath of a Lengthy Rejection Slip." It makes me feel a little better about all of my own legnthy rejection slips.
I've heard the name but I've never listened to their music. I'm going to check it out.
