# express log x in terms of log a, log b, and log c: x= a multiplied by b/ c^2

### 1 Answer | Add Yours

`x=a*b/c^2`

Using `log(ab)=log(a)+log(b)` and `log(a/b)=log(a)-log(b)` and `loga^n=nloga`

`logx=loga+log(b/c^2)=loga+log(b)-log(c^2)`

`=log(a)+log(b)-2log(c)`

So the answer is

`log(x)=log(a)+log(b)-2log(c)`
