Romantics and Goths alike had a penchant for the inevitability of fate. This being said, it also means that they tendered a huge amount of respect to the exploration of all the rules imposed by Church and morality and challenged it in the name of experience and the need for deeper learning on the soul. This also means that they broke ties with established rules of their present moment, and tested the emotions of their audiences by presenting scenarios very much like Blake's, which would have sent readers aghast.

Therefore, Blake is basically saying " Yep, I am more than willing to mess someone else as long as I am save, and I have no shame about it". This is what makes this an act of challenge and rebellion from the part of the Romantic movement and their ideals.
