There are some general similarities with people with Down Syndrome. However, no two people will have all the features. Here are a list of some general characteristics:

  • In terms of height. People with Down Syndrome are usually shorter.
  • Physically, people with Down Syndrome are also weaker.
  • They also usually have stocky necks and limbs.
  • Interestingly, they also have crease across the center of the palms of the hands.
  • They also have smaller eyes, which are pointed up.
  • Intellectually, they have mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Many of them also have heart problems.

As stated above, people with Down Syndrome will not have all of the characteristic above.
