There are different ways to deal with anti-social behavior on the part of tenants. However, none of these methods is fool-proof. Some things that can be done include:
- Having landlords require tenants to pass a long term of probation before being given a permanent lease. This makes it easier to get rid of people engaging in anti-social behavior.
- Get family intervention. It is possible to require the problem tenants to get professional help in order to be allowed to stay in housing. They would have to work on correcting their anti-social behavior or face eviction.
