To evaluate this expression, use the Order of Operations agreement:

Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction.

First, perform the operation in parenthesis: 4 - 3 = 1.

There is no exponent, so do multiplication next. Notice that even though there is no "times" sign between 2 and (4 - 3), multiplication is implied:

2(4 - 3) = 2*1 = 2

Finally, the last remaining operation is subtraction:

52 - 2 = 50

So, the result of evaluation of the given expression is 50:

52 -2(4 - 3) = 52 - 2*1 = 52 -2 = 50.

You do the problems based on the order of pemdas therefore the first step is to look for parentheses

52-2(4-3) 

Solve that first:

52 - 2(1)

There are no exponents so we look to M.D next. There is multiplication.

When there is no sign between 2 numbers and a parenthesis it means mul.

52 - 2(1)

52 - 2

Now the S comes into place:

52-2 = 50

The answer is 50

In order to evaluate this one, must follow the order of operations known as BODMAS (Brackets of Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction) or PEMDAS (Parenthesis Exponent Multiplication Division Addition Subtraction)

52 - 2 (4 - 3)

First solve within the brackets,

Then multiply 2 by 1,
