The I work at Stillwater high school in Minnesota. We have this credit recovery program called E2020 and I am a teacher who works on it.
Suggest this to your school adminstator.
We have a credit recovery program, too. It's called APEX. I wonder sometimes if what we are doing in schools with all the No Child Left Behind is a good idea. In other countries, if students don't want to continue their education or don't intend to go to college, they are able to choose more real-world courses (ie, Business or Technical English) and then get placed in jobs after graduation. Why force them to take credit recovery or classes they see as "useless"? Just a few questions I have...
sorry i couldn't get back to you earlier then this. But im not sure how APEX works but are e2020 is haveing even are most troubled students boost there grades even higher.
